The "Library Road Show" is a 30-minute, once-monthly TV show that features news, events, services, and programs available through the East Baton Rouge Parish Library System.
Watch this program on TV Cox Cable Channel 21 every Wednesday at 8:30 am and 9 p.m., (immediately following the Parish Council Meeting), Saturday at 8 a.m., and Sunday at 8 a.m.

I have only recently accessed the wealth of digital resources that EBRPL has...I encourage the public to take a look, and show their kids (or vice versa). Particular favorite is Lynda.com...huge library of training on sorts of topics, ALL FOR FREE!!!!

Just thought I'd bring this up, as an occasional user of the EBRPL website and a frequent visitor of the library, I love the new library so much that I'd work there if I wasn't sure that the positions weren't full.
22aaa In order to operate 14 locations, open 7 days per week, the Library employs more than 550 full time and part time staff members. These are civil service positions; the hiring process begins with the Department of Human Resources at City Parish. Please view the City Parish Government Human Resources website for details. EBRPLibraryTV I've checked them out and applied, the application process was easier than I expected, I just hope I get my call soon. I'm almost always at both the Eden Park and Main branches (even back when it was Goodwood library). I'm surprised a lot of the mainstays don't remember me but then again, I was a kid in middle school when I started showing up around that time :P I hope I get a call soon, I'm surrounded by books at home and I love the EBRPL website.
